Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 tablespoon vanilla powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon rum flavoring
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups oil for frying
Instructions
1
Combine the dry ingredients of flour, sugar, and vanilla powder in a large mixing container; create a central depression by scooping out some of the mixture.
2
Pour milk, egg, melted butter, and rum flavoring into the depression; blend until a uniform consistency is achieved.
3
Gently incorporate banana slices throughout the mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated with the batter.
4
Heat oil in a deep-frying vessel or wok to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
5
Carefully drop spoonfuls of the banana mixture into the hot oil. Fry in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, taking around 10 to 15 minutes.
6
Remove bananas from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Serve hot.
