- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- salt to taste
- 1 pound cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro

Preheat the pan by warming the oil in a medium-sized cooking vessel over a moderate heat setting. Introduce the cumin seeds, garlic, and ginger paste into the pan and allow them to cook for approximately 1 minute, or until the garlic has developed a light brown hue. Add the potatoes to the pan and season with turmeric, paprika, cumin, garam masala, and salt. Close the lid and continue cooking for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine the cauliflower and cilantro in the same pan. Lower the heat to a low setting and cover the pan. Stir occasionally, allowing the potatoes and cauliflower to cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until they are tender.
