Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 1/2 pounds chicken wing sections
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 pinch sesame seeds, or as desired
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and position an oven-safe wire rack over the foil.
2
In a small bowl, combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Whisk these dry ingredients together until well mixed.
3
Place the chicken wings in a large container and sprinkle half of the dry ingredient mixture over them. Gently toss to coat evenly, making sure all wings are covered. Repeat the process with the remaining dry ingredient mixture, ensuring each wing is coated thoroughly.
4
Arrange the chicken wings on the prepared wire rack of the baking sheet, leaving space between each wing.
5
Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Flip them over and continue baking for another 20 minutes. Rotate the wings again and bake until they are nicely browned and crispy, approximately 15 more minutes. Remove the wings from the oven.
6
Transfer the baked chicken wings to a large serving container.
7
For the glaze, combine honey, sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl until the mixture is smooth. Drizzle this glaze over the chicken wings and toss to coat them completely.
8
Transfer the glazed chicken wings to a serving platter and sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
