SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
- 5 small onion, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 medium red bell peppers, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic
- 12 bamboo skewers, or as needed, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
1
To prepare the marinade, combine honey, soy sauce, oil, and black pepper in a large glass bowl using a whisk to blend the ingredients thoroughly.
2
Set aside 1/4 cup of the marinade in a small jar, seal it, and reserve it for later use during cooking.
3
Add chicken, onions, bell peppers, and garlic to the marinade in the large bowl. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap to keep it fresh and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
4
When you're ready to cook, preheat your outdoor grill to high heat and lightly brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
5
Remove the marinade from the chicken and vegetables, discarding the excess liquid. Thread the chicken and vegetables alternately onto skewers.
6
Place the kabobs on the preheated grill, cooking frequently and brushing them with the reserved marinade to achieve a nice brown color on all sides and cooked chicken, about 12 to 15 minutes.
7
Serve the kabobs hot, garnished with your choice of sides and enjoy!
