Honey Balsamic Flat Iron Steak
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds flat iron steak
Instructions
1
Combine honey, vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, tarragon, rosemary, garlic powder, white pepper, and salt in a large bowl using a whisk until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
2
Transfer the mixture to a resealable plastic bag and add the flat iron steak, coating it evenly with the marinade. Remove any excess air from the bag and seal it tightly.
3
Place the sealed bag in the refrigerator to allow the steak to marinate for at least 6 hours.
4
Prepare an outdoor grill by preheating it to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill surface.
5
Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing any excess to fall away, and discard the used marinade.
6
Cook the steak on the preheated grill for 4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. To check the internal temperature, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of the steak and aim for a reading of 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) for medium-rare doneness.
