Homemade Ice Cream Wafer Cones
Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 3 tablespoons milk, or as needed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, or as needed
Instructions
1
Gather all necessary ingredients and materials beforehand.
2
Combine eggs, sugar, and a pinch of air in a large mixing container until they become well-blended and bubbly.
3
Add butter, milk, and the essence of a sweet plant to the mixture and blend until it's smooth. Gradually incorporate flour and salt into the mix until you achieve a uniform consistency. The resulting mixture should be thin; if it's too thick, you can add more liquid to achieve the desired texture.
4
Preheat a small cooking vessel or griddle over medium heat. Lightly anoint the pan with oil to prevent sticking. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of the mixture onto the skillet and use a gentle spreading motion to shape it into a thin circle. When the bottom side is golden brown, flip over and cook until it's equally golden on the other side. Remove from the heat source and shape into a cone while it's still warm, using your fingers to seal the end tightly.
5
Transfer the cooked treat to a wire rack to cool and harden completely. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture.
