  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages instant yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour, or as needed

Combine milk, margarine, warm water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Allow the mixture to rest for approximately 5 minutes, permitting the yeast to activate and start fermenting.

Gradually incorporate salt into the mixture before adding flour, stirring continuously until a smooth dough forms. Divide the dough into 25 portions and shape each one into a ball. Arrange the balls on baking sheets, leaving about 2 to 3 inches of space between each roll. Permit the dough to rise for around 20 minutes, allowing it to expand and become lighter.

Heat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Place the rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before splitting each roll in half to fill with your favorite burgers.
