Combine lentils with water in a blender or food processor and allow to rest for at least 3 hours.

Mash the lentils into a silky consistency using the blender or food processor. Add a pinch of salt to taste.

Prepare for cooking by heating a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Anoint the pan lightly with olive oil, allowing it to reach a suitable temperature.

Pour approximately 1/4 to 1/3 cup of the lentil mixture into the hot pan.
