  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup herbed goat cheese, crumbled

Preheat your oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius. To make cleanup easier, cover your baking sheet with a thin layer of aluminum foil.

Next, prepare the asparagus by arranging its spears in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. To add flavor, drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over it. Finally, sprinkle crumbled goat cheese evenly over the top of the asparagus.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast until the goat cheese is slightly softened and the asparagus is tender but still retains some firmness when bitten into, approximately 10 minutes.
