Ingredients
- 10 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 3 (10 ounce) boneless beef ribeye steaks, cut 1 inch thick
Instructions
1
Combine the minced garlic, dried oregano, chopped basil, fresh parsley, dried rosemary, and salt in a mortar or small bowl. Use a spoon to mash the ingredients together until you have a coarse, textured paste. Gradually add the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and white pepper to the bowl, stirring until everything is well combined. Divide the mixture in half and transfer one portion to a separate small bowl, setting it aside for now.
2
Spread the remaining herb mixture evenly over the steaks. Allow them to marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
3
Heat up an outdoor grill over medium-high heat, and lightly brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
4
Place the steaks on the preheated grill and cook for 7 minutes, flipping them over halfway through.
5
Immediately sprinkle the reserved herb mixture evenly over the steaks. Continue cooking for an additional 7 minutes, or until your desired level of doneness is achieved.
