Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1
Combine dry ingredients such as flour, yeast, salt, sugar, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil, and black pepper in a large mixing container. Gradually add water and vegetable oil, stirring until the mixture forms a cohesive mass.
2
Transfer the dough to a lightly dusted work surface and engage in kneading until it becomes smooth and pliable.
3
Prepare a clean, dry container by drizzling a small amount of oil onto its surface. Place the dough inside and gently rotate it to coat evenly with oil. Cover with a damp cloth or towel, then allow it to rest in a warm environment for 20 minutes.
4
Heat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with a thin layer of grease.
5
Press the dough down and shape it into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over it.
6
Place the dough in the preheated oven and bake until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
7
Divide the baked goods into 12 equal pieces and serve warm.
