Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper
- 16 sea scallops, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, divided
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice, divided

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl, blending flour, salt, oregano, thyme and lemon pepper until well incorporated. Coat scallops evenly with the dry mixture on all sides.

Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a skillet or frying pan over high heat. Add 4 scallops to the pan and sear on all sides, taking approximately 2 minutes for each side. Upon flipping scallops, add a spoonful of parsley and a dash of lemon juice. Remove the cooked scallops from the pan and place them on a plate to keep warm until serving time.

Continue this process with the remaining scallops, tossing each batch with parsley and lemon juice to ensure even cooking.
