  • 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts

Collect all necessary ingredients and prepare the oven for baking by setting the temperature to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).

Boil a saucepan filled with water that covers the potato, then cook until it reaches a tender state, approximately 5 minutes.

Drain and mash the cooked potato, setting it aside for later use.

In a separate saucepan, combine ground beef and pork, then crumble them together. Add an onion, garlic, mustard powder, thyme, sage, and cloves to the mixture. Stir in water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the meat is evenly browned.
