  • 4 (15 ounce) cans sliced peaches packed in juice, drained and juice reserved

Firstly, preheat your oven to a high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius.

Next, take the melted margarine and pour it into a large rectangular baking dish measuring 9x13 inches. Set the margarine aside for now.

Then, in a separate bowl of moderate size, mix together the flour, baking powder, and white sugar. Add 1 cup of the liquid that was left over from cooking the peaches to this mixture, along with some milk. Stir everything together until it forms a smooth consistency.

After that, pour the batter evenly into the bottom of the 9x13 inch baking dish over the melted margarine. Be sure not to stir the batter.
