- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can chopped stewed tomatoes
- 3 carrots, peeled and cut into coins
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 bunch kale, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- salt and ground black pepper to taste

Heat a generous amount of olive oil in a spacious cooking vessel over a moderate temperature. Sizzle the onion and garlic in the hot oil until it becomes translucent, approximately 5 minutes have passed. Introduce the broth, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, and paprika into the pot. Allow it to simmer until the cabbage becomes tender, a duration of 10 to 15 minutes.
