Ham and Potato Casserole
Ingredients
  • 1 (30 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 (12 ounce) package pre-cooked ham steak, diced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, or more to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Collect all necessary components beforehand.
2
Preheat the cooking facility to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Apply a non-stick coating to a rectangular baking container measuring 9 inches by 13 inches.
3
Mix the hash browns, diced ham, shredded cheese, chopped onion, canned condensed soup, sour cream, and melted butter in a spacious container; add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
4
Pour the combined mixture into the prepared baking dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
5
Bake until the contents are hot, bubbly, and the cheese is fully incorporated, taking approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until a golden brown color is achieved, roughly an additional 15 minutes.
