Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup frozen corn
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 3 cups cooked brown rice
- 2 cups diced pineapple
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
1
Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and white pepper in a bowl to create the marinade.
2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, allowing it to reach its optimal temperature. Add the onion and cook, stirring frequently, until it becomes soft and loses its raw appearance, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for a further 30 seconds, taking care not to burn it. Introduce the carrots, corn, and peas into the pan and stir-fry until they reach a tender state, around 3 to 4 minutes.
3
Add the brown rice, pineapple, ham, green onions, and soy sauce marinade to the pan. Cook, stirring constantly, until everything is well combined and heated through, roughly 2 minutes. Present the dish immediately.
