- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen cut asparagus, thawed
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell peppers
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).

Next, lightly coat the inside of a standard-sized 9x13-inch baking pan with a thin layer of cooking spray.

Mix diced ham, blanched asparagus, sautéed onion, and chopped bell pepper together in the prepared baking pan.

In a separate large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, grated Parmesan cheese, dried tarragon, salt, and black pepper until well combined; pour the mixture over the ham mixture in the baking pan.

Bake the dish in your preheated oven until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, which should take around 20 minutes.

Following the baking time, sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top of the dish; continue to bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, taking an additional 3-5 minutes.
