Halloween Witches' Drink
Ingredients
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries, thawed
  • 2 1/2 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 2 liters ginger ale
  • 2 liters sparkling apple cider (non-alcoholic)
  • 6 gummi snakes candy
Instructions
1
To create the frozen hand, begin by washing and rinsing the exterior of a rubber glove. Flip the glove inside out and set it aside for now. In a 4-cup measuring cup, blend together the thawed raspberries and cranberry juice until well combined.
2
Transfer 2 cups of this mixture to a small saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin over it. Allow it to stand for 2 minutes, allowing the gelatin to soften slightly. Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, just until the gelatin is fully dissolved and smooth.
3
Combine this mixture back into the reserved raspberry mixture in the measuring cup, stirring until well incorporated.
4
Pour the final mixture into the inverted glove, making sure to fill it completely. Gather up the top of the glove and secure it tightly with kitchen twine, ensuring that the contents remain inside. Place the frozen hand in the freezer to solidify, allowing it to freeze for several days if possible.
5
To serve, carefully cut along the glove's seams to release it from its frozen state. Place the hand, with the palm facing upwards, against the side of a large punch bowl. Pour ginger ale and sparkling cider into the bowl, creating a refreshing drink.
