In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix these dry ingredients together until well combined.

In another large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream 1/2 cup of brown sugar with 4 tablespoons of softened butter and 1/2 cup of plain yogurt until the mixture becomes light, fluffy, and noticeably lighter in color.
