Ground Turkey Meatloaf
Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounce) package ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 5 low-sodium buttery round crackers, crushed (such as Ritz Crackers®)
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic and herb seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash®)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to a medium-high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This will ensure that the internal temperature of your dish reaches a safe level.
2
Next, prepare a baking sheet by covering it with aluminum foil. This will make cleanup easier and prevent any mess.
3
Now, combine the turkey, onion, carrots, bell pepper, crackers, egg, milk, seasoning blend, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Using your hands, gently mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
4
Form the mixture into a loaf shape, making sure it is even and symmetrical. Place this loaf onto the prepared baking sheet.
5
Finally, bake the turkey loaf in the preheated oven for a period of 40 to 45 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
