Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 6 (5 ounce) bone-in chicken thighs
Instructions
1
Combine the ingredients of brown sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard, lime juice, lemon juice, garlic, seasoned salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Thoroughly blend the mixture until it is evenly distributed.
2
Next, place the chicken in a glass or ceramic container and pour the combined mixture over it. Cover the container with plastic wrap to prevent any unwanted flavors from entering, and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
3
Before grilling, preheat the outdoor grill to a medium heat level. Lightly brush the grill grate with oil to prevent sticking and promote even cooking.
4
Now, remove the chicken from its marinade by gently shaking off any excess. Discard the remaining marinade, as it's no longer needed.
5
Finally, cook the chicken on the preheated grill for 8 to 10 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), as indicated by an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the chicken.
