Ingredients
- 8 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
- 1/2 cup peanut oil
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 3 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1
Place the salmon filets in a suitable-sized, non-porous glass container. In another medium-sized bowl, blend the ingredients of peanut oil, soy sauce, vinegar, green onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, sesame oil and salt. Thoroughly mix the ingredients until well combined, then pour them over the fish. Cover and refrigerate the fish for 4 to 6 hours.
2
Preheat an outdoor grill by arranging coals approximately five inches away from the metal grate. Lightly brush the metal grate with oil to prevent sticking.
3
Grill the fillets five inches away from the coals for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at its thickest point, or until the fish easily breaks apart with a fork. Flip over halfway through cooking
