- 2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 skewers

Combine the olive oil, tomato sauce, minced garlic, and red wine vinegar in a large mixing vessel. Add some dried basil leaves, salt, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to give it extra flavor. Mix everything together until well combined.

Next, add the shrimp to the bowl and gently toss them around in the marinade until they're evenly coated. Cover the bowl with a lid and refrigerate it for 30 minutes to an hour, giving it a quick stir every now and then.
