Ingredients
- 4 whole lobster tails
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
1
Heat the outdoor grill to a medium temperature before proceeding with the cooking process.
2
Apply a thin layer of oil to the grill grate in order to prevent sticking and ensure easy food release.
3
Cut off the tops of each lobster tail, taking care not to damage the underlying meat, as this will help prevent curling during cooking.
4
Combine softened butter, seafood seasoning, freshly squeezed lemon juice, minced garlic, and ground pepper in a bowl to create the marinade.
5
Position the lobster tails, shell-sides facing downwards, on the preheated grill and cook for 5 minutes. Flip them over and brush with the prepared butter mixture. Continue to cook until the shells turn a vibrant red color and the meat becomes opaque, requiring an additional 5 to 7 minutes of cooking time.
