Ingredients
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 salmon steaks
Instructions
1
Combine the juice of a lime with olive oil, mustard, grated ginger, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Mix everything together until it's perfectly blended; transfer the mixture into a resealable plastic bag. Add salmon steaks to the marinade, cover them completely with the mixture, remove any air pockets, and seal the bag tightly. Refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
2
Heat up an outdoor grill to a medium temperature and lightly brush the grill grates with oil. Remove the salmon from its marinade, shaking off any excess; discard the remaining marinade. Grill the fish on the preheated grill until it breaks apart easily with a fork, flipping it over 5 to 10 times on each side, depending on the thickness of the fish.
