Ingredients
- 8 sheets aluminum foil
- 3 1/2 pounds Alaskan king crab legs
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 1/2 cup butter, divided, or more to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sea salt, or more to taste
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Prepare the grill for a medium temperature setting.
2
Place 4 sheets of aluminum foil flat on a work surface; position one crab leg on each sheet. Add a quarter of a lemon, cut into quarters, beside each crab leg. Cut 1/4 cup of butter into small pieces; apply these to the crab legs. Sprinkle chopped parsley and minced garlic over each crab leg. Season each crab leg with a pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
3
Fold the top and bottom edges over each crab leg to create sealed, foil-wrapped packets. Grill these packets until they turn bright pink on the outside and the meat is opaque, approximately 20 minutes.
4
Melt any remaining butter in a small saucepan over low heat; serve alongside the crab.
