Grilled Honey Pork Chops
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 6 pork chops
Instructions
1
Combine honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a bowl until the mixture is well blended. Transfer the marinade to an airtight container, reserving approximately one-quarter of it in a separate bowl for later use. Place the pork chops in the container, coat them evenly with the marinade, and seal the container to remove any air pockets. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
2
Prepare the grill by preheating it to medium heat and lightly brushing the grates with oil. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, allowing any excess to fall away. Discard the remaining marinade.
3
Grill the pork chops on the preheated grill, basting them with the reserved marinade during the final stages of cooking. Continue grilling until the pork chops are cooked through, which should take around 15 to 20 minutes. To ensure they're fully cooked, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of each chop and verify that it reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Once cooked, let the pork chops rest for 3 minutes before serving.
