SERVINGS

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into bite-sized pieces
- 6 wooden skewers, or as needed
- 1 (6 ounce) container plain Greek-style yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber - peeled, seeded, and grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
1
Acquire all necessary components.
2
Combine olive oil, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, dried oregano, and a pinch of salt in a spacious, resealable container. Add boneless, skinless chicken breast and coat with the marinade, ensuring a thorough distribution of flavors. Remove as much air as possible from the container and seal it securely; refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
3
Prepare a yogurt-based sauce by mixing plain yogurt, diced cucumber, olive oil, white vinegar, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Refrigerate the sauce for 1 to 2 hours, allowing the flavors to harmonize.
4
Submerge wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water for approximately 15 minutes. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly brush the grill grates with oil.
5
Remove the chicken from its marinade and thread it onto the soaked skewers, discarding any excess marinade.
6
Cook the skewers on the preheated grill, rotating them frequently until they are nicely browned on all sides and the chicken is no longer pink in the center, approximately 7 to 8 minutes per side.
7
Serve the kabobs with a side of tzatziki sauce and indulge in this delicious meal!
