Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup lemon or lime juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cubed
- wooden skewers, soaked in cold water
Instructions
1
To prepare the marinade, blend peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, curry powder, garlic, and hot pepper sauce in a large container. Combine the ingredients thoroughly to create a uniform mixture.
2
Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the container and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
3
Heat a grill outdoors to its highest temperature; lightly brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
4
Release chicken from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers, discarding the remaining marinade.
5
Cook the chicken on the preheated grill until it is fully cooked through and no longer pink inside, approximately 5 minutes per side.
