Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cubed
Instructions
1
Combine soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, sesame seeds, sugar, green onions, garlic, and ginger in a glass or plastic bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
2
Prepare the meat by threading it onto skewers, taking care to handle them gently. If using wooden skewers, make sure to submerge them in water for at least 30 minutes prior to use.
3
Place the skewers in a suitable container, just large enough to accommodate them comfortably, and pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover the container and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
4
Heat the grill to its highest setting, positioning the grate 5 inches away from the coals.
5
Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking, then carefully place the skewers on the grill. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning the kabobs occasionally to guarantee even cooking.
