Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- salt to taste
- seasoned salt to taste
- 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
- 4 submarine rolls, halved
Instructions
1
Heat up your electric griddle or stovetop griddle to a medium-high temperature. Divide the cooking surface in half and place the sliced mushrooms, diced onion, and chopped pepper on one side. Meanwhile, position the roast beef slices on the other half of the griddle.
2
Cook each component individually, stirring occasionally and breaking up the beef into smaller bits as it cooks. Add a pinch of salt to taste, along with some seasoned salt for extra flavor.
3
Once the vegetables are tender and the beef is hot throughout, place slices of provolone cheese on top of the beef to allow it to melt. Switch off the heat and let the mixture sit for a moment.
4
Now, use a spoon to transfer the cheesy grilled beef onto your sandwich rolls. Add some of the sautéed onions and peppers on top to complete the dish
