  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, for garnish

Dip chicken pieces into a shallow container filled with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, coating them evenly.

Next, dip the chicken pieces into another shallow dish containing 1 tablespoon of flour, again ensuring they are thoroughly coated.

Heat a generous amount of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they develop a rich brown color, approximately 5 minutes.
