Begin by preheating your oven to a high temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This will ensure that the perfect cooking environment is created for your dish.

Next, take a sheet of aluminum foil and line it onto a baking tray. This simple step will make the cooking process much easier.

Now, take your cauliflower and place it on a cutting board with the stem side facing upwards. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the cauliflower into four equal-sized steaks, making sure they are all roughly the same thickness.

Place these steak-like pieces of cauliflower onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one to allow for even cooking.

Drizzle a moderate amount of olive oil over the cauliflower steaks, followed by sprinkling garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to add flavor.
