- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin coconut oil

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon raw honey

Prepare the turmeric paste:

Combine 1/2 cup of water, turmeric powder, and black pepper in a small saucepan over low heat. Heat gently, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and reaches a desired consistency, approximately 7 to 9 minutes. Add another teaspoon of water and continue cooking until the mixture has transformed into a smooth paste, also taking around 7 to 9 minutes. Permit it to cool down completely, allowing it to reach room temperature, which may take anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer the cooled turmeric paste to an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for future use.

Create the milk mixture:

Combine 1 cup of almond milk, 1 teaspoon of the prepared turmeric paste, a small amount of coconut oil, grated ginger, and cinnamon powder in a saucepan. Heat the mixture over low heat until it reaches a hot temperature, approximately 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat source; stir in some honey to add sweetness to taste. Strain the milk mixture into two separate cups, separating it from any solids that may have formed during the heating process.
