Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup brown rice flour
- 1/2 cup sorghum flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
In a large container with a secure lid, merge the almond flour, brown rice flour, sorghum flour, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, cardamom, ginger, and salt together; close the lid and vigorously shake the container to blend the ingredients.
3
Mix the butter with the combined flour mixture in a large bowl using an electric mixer until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
4
Form the dough into small, walnut-sized balls and position them 2 inches apart on uncoated baking sheets; flatten the balls slightly to make them more even.
5
Bake the dough in the preheated oven until its edges turn a golden brown color, which should take approximately 27 minutes.
6
After the baking time has elapsed, allow the dough to cool in its current position for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to continue cooling completely.
