Ginger Marinated Swordfish
Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2/3 cup dry sherry
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 6 (6 ounce) swordfish steaks
Instructions
1
Combine the teriyaki sauce, sherry, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a large saucepan. Heat the mixture over high heat until it reaches a rolling boil. Allow the marinade to sit for 10 minutes, permitting the flavors to meld together and cool down slightly.
2
Place the fish fillets in a shallow baking dish. Pour half of the cooled marinade over the fish, making sure to coat it evenly. Flip the fish over and pour the remaining marinade on top of it, ensuring that every part of the fish is well-coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
3
Remove the fish from the refrigerator and place it on a preheated grill over medium-high heat. Cook for 4 minutes, flipping the fish halfway through the cooking time. Flip it over again and cook for an additional 4 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve the dish hot and enjoy!
