- 2 limes, sliced
- 4 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
- 1 (750 milliliter) bottle cachaca

Add granulated sugar to a 3-quart saucepan and position it on the stovetop over medium-high heat. Continue to stir the mixture with a gentle motion until the sugar dissolves and transforms into a golden hue, taking approximately 10 minutes to achieve.

Gradually pour in the liquid water while maintaining a cautious and deliberate approach, stirring constantly to ensure the caramel is fully incorporated. Introduce the ginger, lime, and cinnamon into the mixture; raise the heat to its maximum level until it reaches a rolling boil. Subsequently, decrease the heat to a medium setting and allow the mixture to simmer for around 10-15 minutes. Next, add the cachaca to the saucepan and continue cooking until it reaches a hot temperature, approximately 5 minutes additional. Finally, strain the mixture before presenting it to your guests.
