  • 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons peeled and minced fresh ginger
  • 1/3 cup minced scallions
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil, or as needed

Heat your oven to the highest temperature setting, which is 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Next, take a sheet of parchment paper and place it on a baking tray to prevent sticking.

Combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, egg, ginger, minced scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and kosher salt in a large mixing container.

Use your hands to shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch spherical forms and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.

Lightly coat each meatball with canola oil before placing it in the oven to bake until browned and cooked through, approximately 13 minutes. Remove from the oven and transfer the meatballs to a serving platter
