Garlic Shrimp Foil Packets
Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 sheet heavy-duty aluminum foil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced into wedges
Instructions
1
Combine the fresh herb parsley, a generous amount of olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of red pepper flakes in a spacious bowl. Add the succulent shrimp and gently stir until they are evenly coated with the mixture. Allow the shrimp to rest in the bowl for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
2
In the meantime, prepare an outdoor grill by turning the heat up to its highest setting.
3
Place a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil flat on a stable surface, then fold it in half to create a compact square. Fold the edges of the foil upwards, creating a sealed pouch in the center. Spoon the marinated shrimp into the pouch and drizzle with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Gently press the edges together to form a tight packet.
4
Cook the shrimp packet on the preheated grill for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn a vibrant pink color on the outside and the meat is opaque. Serve with additional lemon wedges on the side.
