- 1 pound fresh large shrimp, shelled and deveined

- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preheat the pan over medium heat, adding a combination of olive oil and butter to it. Introduce the sliced bell pepper and chopped onion into the pan, stirring constantly as they cook until the onion becomes tender and loses its crispiness, approximately 5 minutes. Incorporate minced garlic into the mixture, stirring until it releases its aroma, roughly another minute. Introduce the shrimp to the pan and cook on both sides until they turn opaque, around 2 minutes per side. Add the tomato sauce, chopped parsley, and a pinch of red pepper flakes to the pan, stirring until the sauce is warmed through, approximately 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste
