Garlic Sautéed Zucchini and Tomatoes
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water, divided
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
  • 1 large zucchini, thinly sliced
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, allowing it to melt and become smooth. Introduce the onion into the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until it becomes translucent and tender, taking approximately 5 minutes to achieve this state.
2
Next, add the garlic to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until its aroma becomes pronounced, approximately 1 minute more.
3
Subsequently, combine the tomatoes and 1/4 cup of water into the mixture, cover the skillet, and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes have lost some of their liquid and have reduced slightly, taking around 5 minutes to accomplish this.
4
Following that, add an additional 1/4 cup of water into the skillet. Dissolve the bouillon cube by stirring it in and continue to cook, occasionally stirring the mixture, until the zucchini becomes tender, taking 5 to 7 minutes.
5
Finally, season the dish with black pepper and serve it immediately.
