- 1/2 head green cabbage, cut into 4 wedges
- 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 2 lemons, halved

Collect all necessary ingredients and heat your oven to its highest temperature setting, 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Anoint both sides of each cabbage wedge with a generous amount of olive oil. Sprinkle a blend of garlic powder, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper evenly over each wedge. Line the wedges on a baking sheet in an orderly fashion.

Place the wedges in the preheated oven and roast for 15 minutes; flip the cabbage to ensure even cooking, then continue roasting until it reaches a desirable level of browning and charring, approximately 15 minutes more.
