- 1 (3 pound) cauliflower
- 1/4 cup water, or as needed
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

First, preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius), which is equivalent to medium-high heat.

Next, remove the leaves and bottom core from the cauliflower head. Place it in a shallow dish that is safe for microwave use, and add approximately 1 inch of water to the bottom.

Microwave the cauliflower on high power for a duration of 8 minutes. After completion, carefully pour out any excess water.

Then, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined.

Spread the mayonnaise-garlic-Parmesan mixture evenly over the cauliflower, making sure to cover all surfaces.

Finally, place the cauliflower in the preheated oven and bake until it is tender and golden brown. The cooking time will vary between 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the desired level of doneness. Once cooked, sprinkle some chopped chives over the top to serve.
