Incorporate an onion into the mixture and continue cooking until it becomes tender, stirring frequently throughout the process, around 5 minutes.

Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook until one side of the sprouts develops a warm, golden color, spanning 5 to 7 minutes. Rotate the sprouts to ensure even cooking and continue until they achieve an uniform, golden brown appearance, another 5 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt, a few grinds of black pepper, and a dash of garlic powder to enhance the flavor.
