Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon finely minced onion
- 1 tablespoon white wine
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 (4 ounce) filet mignon steaks
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
Instructions
1
Combine 1 tablespoon of olive oil, melted butter, sautéed onion, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, freshly squeezed lemon juice, chopped parsley, seafood seasoning, minced garlic, and a pinch of pepper in a bowl. Add the shrimp to this mixture and gently stir until they are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
2
Prepare an outdoor grill by preheating it to medium-high heat and lightly brush the grates with oil. Season the steaks with steak seasoning, making sure to coat them evenly.
3
Cook the steaks on the preheated grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they start to firm up and reach an internal temperature of 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). Use a meat thermometer to ensure the correct temperature. Transfer the cooked steaks to a serving platter and loosely tent them with aluminum foil.
4
Remove the shrimp from their marinade and grill over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn bright pink on the outside and are opaque in the center.
