Garlic Knots with 2-Ingredient Dough
Ingredients
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1.00 cup whole fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
Instructions
1
Combine dry ingredients, including flour, yogurt, garlic granules, Italian seasoning, and salt in a mixing bowl; blend until well combined.
2
Cover your work surface with a dusting of flour. Transfer the dough to the prepared surface and begin kneading using your palm for 8 to 10 minutes. Gradually add more flour (1 teaspoon at a time) as necessary to maintain the right consistency, avoiding stickiness.
3
Preheat your oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy release (such as Silpat).
4
Form the dough into an oval shape. Using a bench scraper, cut off 8 equal portions of the dough and roll each into a rope shape. Tie the ropes into knots, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
5
Bake in the preheated oven until the knots are lightly browned, taking 10 to 12 minutes.
6
While the knots are baking, mix together melted butter, oil, garlic granules, and parsley in a small glass container. Brush the warm knots with this topping mixture after they come out of the oven.
