- 6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Next, place the ingredients in a blender and blend them together until they form a uniform mixture. Combine soup, cream, thyme, and pepper in the blender to create a smooth consistency.

Now, spread a thin layer of the blended mixture onto the bottom of a 9x13 inch casserole dish. This will serve as the base for your dish.
