  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 small tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter, allowing it to simmer gently. Next, cook the minced garlic in the hot butter for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly until it releases its aroma.

Combine the steamed broccoli and Brussels sprouts with the garlic, then add diced tomatoes and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt and a few grinds of red pepper flakes to enhance the flavors.
