  • 2 cups diced nectarines
  • 1 cup pitted and halved sweet cherries
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon raspberry-flavored liqueur (such as Chambord®)
  • 3 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds

Combine water, 5 tablespoons sugar, a quarter cup of raspberry-flavored liqueur, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat the mixture until it reaches its boiling point, then decrease the heat to a low setting and let it simmer, stirring frequently, until the sugar has fully dissolved, approximately 8 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool down.

In a large bowl, combine nectarines, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Pour the cooled sugar mixture over the fruit and gently toss to coat everything evenly.

In a separate bowl, whip heavy whipping cream with 2 teaspoons of sugar using an electric hand mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Mix in 1 teaspoon of raspberry-flavored liqueur into the whipped cream, then spoon it over the fruit salad and sprinkle it evenly with almonds.
